We got packed up on Wednesday evening and got to bed about 9pm. Up this morning at 01:30 and got to the tunnel before 5am. Cup of tea consumed and now on the train. About 500 miles to go once we get to France (in about 30 minutes).

Time For A New Tyre?
Yes I think it's time for a new rear tyre, this one had just over four thousand miles. To be honest I thought it would last a bit longer than that :(

Test photo for my blog.
So our bike trip is coming up soon and I want to do a blog of our progress. I'm using a Motorola Defy smartphone. This runs the Android operating system, currently only at version 2.1 Eclair. The phone is superb, although it didn't stand up too well to being run over by a Ford Galaxy, when it fell out of my pocket...... But it is dust and water proof and pretty robust.
I'd been looking for a way to use blogger on my phone, well blow me, there's an app for Blogger! So I've installed it and this blog entry is being written using it.
One issue is whether our not you need data when writing or if you can update when you get home?
